My ride showed up at my house at around 6:30 and ran down to the ferry to cross the Ottawa River. Turns out the ferry doesn't open until 7:00 so we were stuck waiting for 20 minutes. So we hop on the ferry and our adventure begins. The scenery is absolutely beautiful up that way. After a two hour drive we arrive at "lake x". Looked like a trouts paradise with downed trees all around the lake.
We meet two other guys at the lake with their boat and they just ended up getting one brookie that was just FULL of minnows.
sadly that was the only fish of the day since the rain started we were forced to call it a day
Even if i got skunked it was a great day!
Im gonna be trying to get out to more back lakes in the next couple weeks so stay tuned!!
